We are pleased to have you visit our Bible School Program. Our desire is to create a loving and enthusiastic atmosphere which your child will want to return to week-to-week to learn about God’s love and plans for them.

The philosophy at Crossroads Christian Church is that parents are the primary teachers of Biblical material for children. It is our desire to be partners with parents in nurturing their children in Biblical foundations. During their childhood, we must lay spiritual foundations for children. If the child develops the ability to trust during his formative years, he will have a basis for commitment to Jesus when he or she reaches the stages of accountability.

Our theme verse is…

Isaiah 54:12
....“All your children will be taught by the Lord.
.....And.they will have much peace.”

We believe that this goal is desired by most parents. We want to cooperate with you in furthering God’s plan for your child.

In all of our children’s Bible classes, Infant through 6th grade, we are committed to carrying out the same purposes that our church is founded upon.

We also offer a midweek “Awana” program, Summer camps and Vacation Bible School.

DEPARTMENTS

INFANTS—Room 1
We have been blessed with many young families which provide for regular “newcomers” to our Nursery. Our nursery workers are committed to a clean environment, proper adult to baby ratio, and providing a loving atmosphere.

TODDLERS-Room 2
The unique needs of 1 year olds calls for a variety of methods and resources to entertain our toddlers. Through the use of music, toys, books, and snacks, our children enjoy a positive experience at church.

TWO’S-Room 3
Two year olds have a room with toys, video, crafts, play dough, and a bathroom just their size.

PRESCHOOL/3’S AND PREK’S/4’S-Room 4
Through the use of several different learning and play stations (story time, craft time, games, songs, snacks, etc.) they enjoy learning about God and sharing with one another.

5’s & KINDERGARTEN-Room 5
A class that combines a structured lesson time with a craft and play stations like legos, cars, doll house, etc.

ELEMENTARY DEPARTMENT
1ST—2ND-Room 8 3RD—4TH-Room 7
5TH—6TH-Room 6

A warm welcome and lots of creative activities await your child each Sunday morning. We offer worship music and great curriculum at both services.

Celebrate—The Life of God.
We want children to enjoy being in God’s house, have opportunity to sing His praises and experience His love through teachers and friends.

Care—About One Another in Christ.
Teachers will teach children about God’s love by the love they express themselves and in creating a “caring community” within the class.

Condition—Personal Growth and Service.
We endeavor to teach our children about the love of Christ and the practical day-to-day application of God’s Word.

Communicate—Christ To Others.
We encourage our students to tell others about the love of Jesus and His life changing ways.


Christian Education

Loralee Boe, our Children’s Minister, would be happy to help with your children’s adjustment in any way. The loving people of Crossroads who teach and care for our children are greatly respected and appreciated. These men and women give of their time, energy, and the essence of their lives to help our children grow up in the way of the Lord. They attend training seminars and conventions in order to constantly upgrade their teaching and relational skills. In order to ensure a safe environment and to gain the confidence of visiting families, all teachers submit references and fingerprints for clearance. These high standards are set to show how highly we value our young people.
